Felix D B Schmidt, Founder, Head of Tech, Product

Felix started Got It as a university project back in 2019 with a couple of friends. He had been building personal projects combining communication and techology for years while studying Computer Science and Communication. Felix had been entrepreneurial but never committed fearing disappointing his parents. Finally, working on the project gave him the final push to drop out and commit fully having completed only the courses in uni he felt were really of help for him on his journey. Felix got mentored by his former professor and a Head of product. He pursued several iterations with changing teams throughout the years testing with potential customers before partnering up with Sarah and professionalising efforts of building Got It. The vision of Got It helping people to communicate better with the help of technology never changed over the years. In his spare time Felix loves to hike, do calisthenics and explore new things, ideas and places.

Dr Sarah J White, Co-Founder, Head of Linguistics

Dr. Sarah J White is a conversation analyst, bringing a wealth of academic and practical experience to Got It. Her journey began with a passion for understanding the intricacies of human communication, which she has pursued through research and teaching, particularly on workplace communication. Sarah’s expertise is integral to Got It, where she applies her deep understanding of the structures of conversation as well as the scientific approach used to explore communication to ensure the company’s products are evidence-based. She has been instrumental in transitioning Got It from a basic learning app to a sophisticated platform that integrates advanced AI tools, aiming to enhance user communication on digital platforms. Her collaboration with Felix Schmidt has been pivotal in aligning the technical aspects of the product with the nuances of human communication. Sarah is committed to the continuous improvement of communication tools and strives to make a meaningful impact on how people interact in the digital age. Outside of her professional life, Sarah enjoys time with her family and friends.
